Mathematically Beautiful

The Science Behind Christina Milian's Face

Assertion: Christina Milian is the most beautiful girl in the history of the universe.
Proof: maths and science, which gave us the industrial revolution and cereals. Dare you argue? Read on, my esteemed colleagues, read on...

The Golden Ratio

Yes the Golden Ratio, a subject hotly debated amongst Christina Milian's fanbase. The Golden Ratio is a concept that was first explored by the ancient Greeks, a ratio of measurement that is known even by modern science as a measure of aesthetic ideal. Not only is it found in many unearthed ancient man-made structures, it also finds expression in the geometry of the most beautiful flowers, the endless spirals on the side of a seashell, and on Christina Milian's face. In case you're desperate to know (I know you are), it is most accurately expressed as the ratio of one to the square root of five minus one and divided by two (usually written as the decimal 0.618, accurate to three decimal places, as it is an irrational number). If we use this number by drawing a rectangle with the ratio of its sides at 1:0.618 then we have what the ancient Greeks used to call the Golden Rectangle. By drawing a line through the middle, dividing the rectangle into a perfect square and a smaller rectangle, then the smaller rectangle is also a Golden Rectangle having exactly the same dimensions as the original. Now, look what happens if we draw a rectangle around Christina Milian's perfect features and divide it at the brow (see Fig. 1) - this makes itself blatantly apparent, a fully Golden Rectangle. This is provable by measuring its dimensions in pixels - the top half of her face is 42 pixels, the lower half 68. By dividing 42 by 68 we arrive at exactly 0.618! This is accurate, irrefutable, scientific evidence that Christina Milian is mathematically flawless. Dare you stare into the face of science and proclaim that it is wrong? Dare you?

The Golden Angle

If a perfect circle has a radius line drawn at zero degrees, then another drawn at 0.618 of the circle's 360 degrees (thus dividing the perimeter of the circle into the Golden Ratio 1:0.618) we end up with two segments, the angle of the smaller being what is known as the Golden Angle, or approximately 137.51 degrees. This can also be seen all over Christina's face (see Fig. 2). From the tip of her perfect, softly rounded nose to the edges of her adorable smile, and to the corners of those tiny worlds in her dark eyes, the Golden Angle of 137.5 degrees finds itself in every perfect facet and line of her, spread like snow in a lonely landscape, her name drifted onto its surface by the still air and those pictures I made over there.

In Conclusion, Then

In a nutshell, Christina Milian's life has woven and interwoven its threads through the height of all of nature's perfection, the energy of collision released from all of its love and its fury, the gentle rain and the wild wind, the falling leaves in autumn and the sun, the birth of stars and the violence in their deaths tearing apart and thrown into a black infinity so full of all that ever was and ever will be. In her the world has achieved the purpose of its birth and when she leaves all purpose will die with her. Without her the world will simply stop spinning and time will slow down to nothing and life itself will find its conclusion in the gaze and breath of a ravaged winter sky.

And I have just proved it - with science.
